Mojave Desert | Junk Yard
Between Death Valley and the 395 is a long and lonely road that cuts through the Panamint Mountains and takes you to Red Mountain, which is home to the Pre-Plastic Junk Museum (PPJ). Along that road, right before a town called "Trona", is a little strip of junkyards which hold vast treasures of rusting, collapsing cars, appliances and other flotsam which gleam under that desert sun.
Amen. |
